Camping
Where Mellowes really comes into its own is the fact that Beavers, Girl Guides can pitch their tents and enjoy a most memorable and safe camp. Toilets, electricity, Kitchen Facilities, Outdoor Bar Be Que, 10mtr Marquee, Campfire opportunity are all provided, all you need are the tents and the food. At night the private cinema, soft room and general activity room are just what are needed to round off a day packed with programme. (For those not ‘quite’ ready for the tents, sleepover’s can also be arranged)

“We brought 24 Beaver Scouts, aged between 7 years and 9 years to Mellowes Adventure Centre for a Bearer Scout Camp and what a fantastic experience it turned out to be for us all. From the moment we arrived Steven made both adults and children feel very welcome. Mellowes Adventure Centre is a gem of a spot, exceptionally well thought out and kept in pristine condition. It was safe and very suited to this age group. The children had a ball, the bouncy castles and go-karts were favourites, but they also loved the Animals and Steven even managed to do some gardening with them. This was our seventh time to take Beaver Scouts away and according to them, the most important critics, it was the best yet. Where to we go from here, back to Mellowes Adventure Centre, I think”

We had a warm day to go with the warm welcome our beaver scouts received at mellowes adventure centre. The set up is fantastic, the beaver scouts had a great time. Steven was a great host. Beavers got to play and learn at the same time. There is something for everyone at mellowes adventure centre. Great entertainment, good knowledge. Steven took charge of the beavers during their tour so the leaders had one of the most relaxing field trips ever. We had an all round great day and will defiantly be recommending mellowes adventure centre to all. We will be planning our next trip to mellowes as soon as we get home. Thank you for a great time
